in vs. at (I work in the airport. vs I work at the airport.)

Hello!
Can anybody explain me the difference between the following two sentences:
“I work in the airport”
“I work at the airport”
When I googled these two variants, both of them seemed to be actively used. However, I am still confused.
Thanks in advance!

Hi,

‘In the airport’ has the sense of ‘inside’ whereas ‘at’ is less specific and suggests that is the location of your employment.
