"in detail"

would you please me tell me what is the meaning of “in details” here? I know the other section of sentence.

[color=red]In details, the system runs for a total time denoted as T.

More context is needed.

I would have to presume that it is a shortened for of 'In the section called ‘details’.

Otherwise, it should be ‘in detail’, which is an indication of being given additional, more detailed, information.

Beeesneees,

  1. This issue will be discussed in more detail in the next chapter.
1a. This issue will be discussed in more details in the next chapter.
  2. The fine detail of the plan has yet to be worked out.
2a. The fine details of the plan has yet to be worked out.
  3. He will come and explain it to you in detail.
3a. He will come and explain it to you in details.
    Please correct them all.

1 is correct, not 1a., though this is possible: Details will be discussed in the next chapter.
2 is correct, for 2a to be correct you need to change ‘has’ into ‘have’.
3 is correct, not 3a, though this is possible: He will come and explain all the details to you.
