Decision making is a very important element of our lives. It is like a foundation stone of a building and therefore, it is very important for us to ensure that we make the right decision in the best possible way. In my opinion important decisions should not be made alone. Involving friends and family is very important in decision making as they help us with their experience, ideas and eventually help us in maintaining our relationships.
Decisions are sometimes important and critical for both the persons when they are in a relationship. For example, in a marriage, it is not only the person making the decision who is affected. It is equivalently important for the other person too. Important decisions in a marriage should always be made through mutual understanding and compassion. If a person disregards this, he has to face countless inevitable consequences as a resultant.
There are multiple times, when we feel the need our friends and family while deciding. We should seek their advice while making important decisions. Our friends and family member know us better; they will thus help in providing essential information which might be beneficial while deciding on important issues. Besides this, they can have a different perception of the situation which can eventually benefit us. Moreover, involving people can help in generating novel ideas and help in the brainstorming process.
Finally, seeking the advice of your parents can make the whole decision making process very easy. For instance, there are several times in our lives that we go through a difficult phase that our parents have already crossed. While making important decisions, their experience and suggestions can help us avoid the inevitable consequences. They can guide us through the problems, and help us solve them too. Besides, they are going to stand by us always in support, no matter what the consequences of the decisions are.
