Some people today believe that the world’s increase in population is unsustainable and will eventually lead to a global crisis. Other people believe that the world population increase is necessary and beneficial as it creates the growth of the world’s economy and society.
Discuss both these views and give your opinion.
In recent years, the number of world’s population is getting more and more developed dramatically and are showing an uptrend sharply. This causes two opposite arguments: some people think that the earth’s increase in population is not essential and will lead to a global crisis; others believe that world population growth is necessary and beneficial because it creates the advance of the world’s economy and society. This essay will discuss two sides of this argument, and make a personal opinion as well.
On the one hand, with population development in the earth will bring few positive aspects that we have to regard. More and more people will help reach social-economic achievements more effectively. This means that this population increase help materializes some things in social and economic areas which are that people can not do well within fewer people. A bright example is a lot of tough computation problems of the economy are solved easily in current days such as using information technology to calculate salary for employees and using online banks to transfer salary to staffs. Thus, this population increase also helps reduce stress for many people who are always stuck in their desks with a big work volume. In fact, in 2019 studies show that there are over 3 million people who suffered lots of pressure in their job. More people will help share these jobs with each people to decrease this pressure.
On the other hand, It is easy to lead to a global crisis if the population has been increasing constantly without a hover. One of the most important reasons for this point is lack of food and residential services for residents will occur with overpopulation. This means that both jam-packed cities and countrysides will require a big human resource to serve individuals and communities. In fact, in poor countries, they always have less food and no residential services to serve their demand. For another reason, this world’s population increase makes a good condition to spread out largely with a disease which threatens human lives. This was demonstrated in the world’s largest epidemics like Flu and Ebola, etc.
In conclusion, the world’s population increase has few drawbacks for disease and overpopulation, which bring on a lot of significant difficulties for people, but they’re also are some positive aspects which stand out among these difficulties. Personally, I think the world’s population increase should be maintained to get a lot of significant development.
