2- Can we replace “would” with “could” with same meaning?
That could be weird
The following is not true of your example, but is closely related.
“That could get weird” is almost idiomatic. It’s hard to describe though. It’s almost like saying it WILL get weird, and MIGHT get really weird. It is often said almost humorously and even looking forward to it.
The entire sentence means: I’m longing for the day that the weather starts to cool off.’
As for replacing would with could or will and might, no, you cannot do that. Because you definitely say: ‘That would be weird or rather strange’. In my opinion it follows a conditional clause, yet ‘if’ is not necessary in this case.
