I will have you ---

Hi !

It is pleasent and healthful if you can forget many things in your life for 'lively living ’
only .
I recieve every day not less than hundreds letters in my yahoo koreanlab address
I try to read synopsis only and avoid max. for already knowing the inside as I have already seen those but never feel it is spam !

Because sometimes I got valuable information as well which must protect me from many things in my life.

The bus knock down him
and -You have brought about my ruin ,

’ I appreciate you if you do n’t jump down my throat ’

Hi Mr.MM, first above two , does later one bear the same grammatical terminology with the inverted sentence ? like ‘throat’ noun, object of the jump down ?

I’m not sure what you want to know, Minhajquazi, but:

Bring about my ruin – ‘Bring about’ is a phrasal verb. ‘My ruin’ is the direct object of the phrasal verb ‘bring about’.

Jump down my throat – ‘Down’ is a preposition. ‘My throat’ is the object of the preposition ‘down’. ‘Jump’ is an intransitive verb. ‘Down by throat’ is an adverbial complement of ‘jump’.

So ,Pls. what is the difference between 'Knock down ’ and 'Brought about - are not they both phrasal verb ? Is not ‘knock’ intransitive here ?

G’morning!

While hanging my head in suitable shame, I must admit that I’m woefully ignorant as to the meaning of many terms used to describe sentence structure - and I write books! I know what a dangling conversation is but have no idea what a dangling participle is, and when I attempt to look it up, along with subjunctives, split infinitives, predicates, and a host of other descriptive terms, the explanations are so complicated that they make me want to reach for some Tylenol. I understand nouns, adjectives, verbs, adverbs, conjunctions, prepositions, and all the simple ‘stuff,’ but the rest doesn’t seem to stick in my head, and it never did. I’m hoping that by spending some time here I’ll learn what to call what I’ve written. There has to be a ‘Dummy’ how-to version somewhere. Is anyone up for spending a little time on breaking down sentence structure - simply - please?

Blessings,

Anij.

I’m sorry for the above interjection. I thought that I was starting a new topic but clearly I must have clicked the wrong icon. Again, my apologies.

Anij.

Hi Anij !

As you are intersted about the sheer grammar you can enter anywhere in the discussion ‘Forum’ as so far my knowledge I gathered here about english-test-net; there is no bar .

Of course, authority may give you more light regarding this .

Hello Anij,

You’ll find ‘starting a new topic’ instructions here if you need them.

Hi Koreanlan !

I like your ‘telling the truth’ with fighting sprite , we need your aspiration for showing us more grammatical clues that will help to pull on the answers from the moderators smoothly !

Hi E2 e4 !

You also can observe here the previous posts -things were not going well here as sometimes teachers felt suffocation to answer for unknown reasons !

But that should not have gone this ways. We must respect each other and must careful not to hurt anybody by language capability . Which is a dangerous weapon-

Pls ,God, let there be light everybody ; also me !!!

G’morning Minhajquazi!

Amen to your prayer. In my experience, God never refuses His Light to those who sincerely seek it.

‘May The Lord bless you
May The Lord keep you
May The Lord lift up His face
And shine His countenance upon you
And give you peace.’

Anij.

Good Morning Mr. Aniz !

You are welcome for your transparent , honest and over all broad mind .

My one of own elder brothers was an English teacher and writer in Toronto, unfortunately he left us few months ago and buried at Dhaka . The Allahah forgives him by His greatness !

Micheal Petcovic , an Electrical Engineer and very much well in English language coming from England friend of said my brother but settled in Montreal ,came to Dhaka, May , in 1998 by my invitation living 10 days and illuminated me so far ways ;still I can not forget him as resembling speech like you !

Micheal is now a good priest in Montreal , I heard and I am sure the people will be lighted by him day by day ,but we lost one good English teacher as well . Mr Aniz what about you now ? Are you a teacher or priest ?

Finally ,is this brief but based on the true story readily understandable to you ???

G’morning Minhajquazi!

Peace be upon you!

Yes, I understand your story and thank you for honoring me by sharing it with me.

Please accept my condolences on the death of your brother - may he rest in peace. Earthly death is not permanent, Minhajquazi, and the door that leads us out of Earthly life is the same door that leads us to eternal life, so don’t worry about your brother. God’s Love, Mercy, and Grace, while undeserved by any of us, are greater than mortals can imagine.

I am a woman, so… not a priest, but I have been a missionary for thirty-seven years, praise God! The path that God put me on necessitated that I learn the basics of all expressions of faith, or most of them, and there is only One God and Father, after all. Different cultures call God different names.

Islamic tradition uses the name Allah, which is really not a proper name, but rather a designation, which in English means ‘The God.’ Many Christians in South East Asia and Malaysia use the name of Allah too.

Christian tradition uses the Hebrew Name Yod Heh Vav Heh, usually shortened to Yahweh, or morphed into Jehovah as the Name of God, and Yashuah or Yeshua for Jesus Christ. The English equivalent is Joshua.

Jewish tradition, while recognizing Yod Heh Vav Heh as the Self-proclaimed Name of God, considers it too holy to be spoken, and oftentimes even written, preferring the term Hashem instead, which in English literally means The Name.

We are all on the same journey, Minhajquazi, and God tells us that he ‘Hates divisions and sects,’ so I prefer to follow the commands of Yeshua, given to Him by our Father in Heaven, which are, to love God with everything in us, our whole heart, our whole mind, our whole soul, and our whole strength, and to love one’s neighbor as oneself.

God loves everyone in His Creation and Christ died once for all mankind, so I try to live my life in love, as God is LOVE, and to tell you the truth, Minhajquazi, nothing else matters. ‘LOVE conquers all.’

May the Love and Peace of God be with you,

Your servant, trusting in and surrendering to The Father through The Son.

Anij.

Edited to add: the words you like in my previous post are called ‘The Aaronic Blessing,’ which can be found in the Bible at Numbers chapter six, verses 24 - 26. I did not write such beautiful words but my spirit loves to share them.

Ms Anij ,thank you for your long writing .

I was confused , in whole over the India ,so far I know ; Anij or Anis is male name , Kanij is female but it does not matter when the person’s mind is beautiful that is the worthwhile .

Your mind is beautiful , I respect you .

Not to worry, Minhajquazi, my real name is Jesse, but I could not use it on this forum as someone else chose it before I could. I chose Anij because it sounds soft and feminine to me, and while I didn’t name any of my children Anij, I would if I were young enough to have another daughter, but I am a grandmother now, so I’ve had my turn and am the mother of five beautiful children, named Daniel aged 34, Beth (33), Laura (31), Jordan (29), and Sarah (23). Daniel and Jordan are boys and the other three are girls.

I have spent a fair amount of time in the Middle East but haven’t made it to India yet, although my husband and I hope to remedy that next year (God Willing) while on an eighteen-month, worldwide book tour to promote my latest seven-novel series, the sales of which help to support our orphan ministry. Where in India do you live? (If you don’t mind me asking.)

Love, peace, and prayers,

Jesse.

No , I don’t mind as this is the ultra modern age !

I live in Dhaka , capital of Bangladesh beside India .We all BD ,Pak and India were united until 1947 .

I tried to make journey (of course legally,I got visa , target to Turkey/Romania )from ‘Urumqi’ (China) to ‘khaibar pass’ valley the most terrible pass in the world, so far I know, to Pakistan ,August ,in 1993 .

Unfortunately , my companion fell in ill in Beijing because of long time wondering at the ‘great wall’. He left me for Honk kong . I was living few days alone in Beijing , finally I felt suffocation as nobody was beside me for gossiping , then I realized if I try myself alone to pass that valley it would not be the wise decision as I could be fell in sick-I turned back to Hong Kong through train -the longest journey might be 2700 miles !

At Hong Kong ,I worked at a tourist place several months , two pretty girls who came out from 'Oxford University ’ later check out without paying hotel bill -it was one of my interesting memories as well ! I want to write down my traveling memory about several countries later . If you need my cooperation regarding journey I might help you as I did in the past.

Thank you for you kind offer, Minhajquazi.

I’m familiar with India’s history and geography, and in particular that of Sri Lanka, a place close to my heart. I/we (my husband and I) won’t be on a sightseeing tour, but if we find ourselves close to where you live, it would be nice to meet and break bread together.

I’m playing hooky right now (taking time off work that I shouldn’t) and so don’t have much time to ‘talk’ today. We’re busier than a one-armed paper hanger from now until the end of July, but I try to peek in here daily to see how you’re all faring.

Perhaps, when I’m Graced with a little more time (if God grants me that), you would honor me with your favorite travel stories. As a seasoned missionary, I have a few myself, and I know of no one in any corner of God’s Earth who doesn’t like a good story.

May God bless and be with you, Minhajquazi.

Your servant, surrendering to and trusting in Yeshua.
