Correct.

What does it look like?

What happens in the picture?

Did he feel sorry for the poor man?

Did he go to help the poor man?

Where is he trapped?

Have they become friends?

What lesson did they learn from this experience?

  1. OK

  2. What does he look like?
This is asking for a description of his appearance.
    or
    How does he look?
This is asking about his condition, usually a negative condition. For example does he looks sick? Or does he look depressed? Is his condition improving?

  3. Either one is OK. “Happening” is a little better.

  4. Did he take pity on the poor man? ( This usually implies an action. )
Did he feel sorry for the poor man? ( This is a feeling, but no action. )

  5. Did he help the poor man?

  6. Where is he trapped?
    or maybe
    How is he trapped?

  7. Did he make friends?

  8. OK
