'I love you because I need you' vs 'I need you because I love you'

There`s something I really want to know about…

I`ve heard this line several times already especially in movies…When someone asks about how do you feel toward them by giving out this kind of question, what would you choose?

[color=red]a. I love you because I need you
b. I need you because I love you

Pls let me know your views and tell me the difference between the two.

Both are grammatically correct and commonly used. That is all I am prepared to say.

They just show two diferrent characters,attitudes towards each other,I think there isn’t more difference between them.
