Hi everyone.
I’m Thuytrang. I’m from Vietnam.
When i read a English book, I saw 2 sentences but i haven’t understood. They are: ‘i know more today that i did yesterday’ and ‘you know more today than you did yesterday’.
Please explain to me!
Thanks in advance.
Hi Thuy,
The first sentence looks like it has an error. It should read ‘I know more today than I did yesterday.’
Both these sentences are simply saying that the subject (you or I) knows more (or has more knowledge) than they did the day before. In other words, they learned something new today that they didn’t know yesterday.
I agree with Skrej.
The correct form of the sentence is:
‘I know more today than I did yesterday’.
