I haven't ever been there before VERSUS I have never been there before

Hi,

just a short question:

“I haven’t ever been there before” is equivalent to “I have never been there before” ?

thks, Alex

Buddy they have the same meaning

Exactly equivalent… neither is more ‘correct’ than the other. The latter is (perhaps) a little more elegant than the former but that’s only a matter of personal preference.

BTW … I do recognize that ‘exactly equivalent’ is a bit of a redundancy… I just wanted to emphasize.
