  1. I confide my problems to my father.
  2. I confide in my father my problems.

Are both sentences correct?

The verb β€˜confide’ takes both the prepositions β€˜to’ and β€˜in’.
If you attach some privacy or confidentiality to your problems, say, β€œI confide my problems to my father.”
If you just mean trusting him, you may say, β€œI confide my problems in my father.”
