Hi, every one
“I bust the windows out your car” , why they use “out” for this sentences. Could anyone explain it to me please ? because I think “of” / “on” is appropriate, can I use these 2 prepositions in this sentence.
The sentence is not a very good one, but ‘out’ here means ‘completely’ or ‘so that the entire window is gone from the vehicle’.
Hi, teacher Mister Micawber
why they do not use “out of” instead of “out” . I feel strange when using “out” stand alone in this sentence.
The sentence should use ‘out of’, but it is written so badly that I thought you just made some typing mistakes.
I bust the windows out your car– This could be street slang spoken by someone whose English is substandard. The standard English version is “I’ll break the windows out of your car”.
Big thanks, Mr Mister Micawber.
