"I am on leaves" vs "I am on leave"

Hi,

Can anybody advice me whether it is correct to say that, “I am on leaves”? I think that the correct phrase should be, “I am on leave”, but my boss corrected me saying that more than a day should be plural.

No, it is a single leave of several days’ duration. ‘On leave’ is idiomatic.
