I am new, some help please!!!

My name is Paul. I am from Thailand. I came acrosss this website
a few days ago as I was studying for the TOEIC Exam that I will
take it on Friday and I found this site very useful so I decided
to register to this forum. Eventhough I am very new here,
I have been an English enthusiast for many years and it is great
to join this amazing forum and I can’t wait to know everyone here.
I scored 970 on Toeic five years ago and this time I really want to
make it a perfect score. I have been preparing for two days and
there are only 3 days left so I am running short of time. I have tried
Toeic test on this site but I never made it perfect so if anyone has
tips of achieving a perfect score it would be very appreciated.

Thanks
Paul

Hi Paul, why do you want to get 990 points?[YSaerTTEW443543]

Thanks for your question Torsten. As a non-native English speaker( if I am not wrong), your English is super excellent. I really appreciate your generosity in
creating such a good website for everyone who desires to improve their
English skills.

As I mentioned earlier I first took the Toeic test 5 years ago
and I was not well prepared at that time. This time I have one
week to prepare so I think it is a good chance to make it.
The reason why I want to get 990 points is just to challenge myself.
If I could to it, it would be some kind of a breakthrough.
The other thing is, I will apply for a job at The US Embassy
and they require at least 855 Toeic scores.
I am looking forward to your advice.
Thanks

Brgds,
Paul

Hi Paul, if I were in your shoes I would spend as much time listening to audio books and business oriented TV shows such as ‘Quest Means Business’ over the next two weeks as possible.[YSaerTTEW443543]

Many thanks for the advice Torsten, I will try my best.
I learnt 1 more new idiom from you today. Eventhought I haven’t heard it before
but I know exactly what it means.
Thanks again,
Paul
