I am as snug as a bug in the rug

Hi, I’d like to know if I have pronounced this idiom correctly. If I have not, don’t hesitate to correct me. Listen to the voce message.
idiom:’‘I am as snug as a bug in the rug’’
Sorry, I can’t post the voice message.! May I know the correct manner of pronouncing

It’s usually “I am as snug as a bug in a rug”

Thanck you Dear kanjikook!
I can see that it was my mistake. but I want to know how to pronounce whole the sentence. (intonation)

Hello Tresoruniken

The main stress would normally be on the words snug, bug and rug – and of course I am would be contracted in spoken English:

“[I’m as snug] [as a bug] [in a rug].”

thank you! what about the stress for the words: snug, rug and bug I think snug, rug and bug

We normally talk about stress in terms of single syllables, Tresorunikin, and those are all one-syllable words. Of course, the “ug” in each of those words rhymes. Is that what you’re getting at?

thanck you very much: I am glad with your explanation
