hypocrite

  1. He is a liar, cheat, hypocrite and never practices what he lectures other people.
  2. The church dismissed him as a hypocrite and removed his name from the church worshipers list.
  3. He was branded as a womanizer having sex with many different women.
  4. He has been wrongly accused of womanizing even though he lives/lived with his wife alone.
    Please correct the above sentences.
    Thanks.
  1. He is a liar, a cheat and a hypocrite and never practices what he lectures to other people. (the two latter 'a’s can be left out, but the ‘and’ must be included.)
  2. The church dismissed him as a hypocrite and removed his name from the church worshippers’ list. (grammatically it’s okay though I’m not sure the actions would actually be carried out. I don’t know of any churches that have lists of people allowed to worship there.)
  3. He was branded as a womanizer, having had sex with many different women.
  4. He has been wrongly accused of womanizing even though he lives/lived with his wife.

I think the word ‘alone’ may be replaced by ‘only’ and inserted as below to indicate the effect intended.
4. He has been wrongly accused of womanizing even though he lives/lived only with his wife.
