How to write sentences starting with infinitive verbs?

I’m translating a document in which I need to describe the purposes of a project. Those purposes all begin with infinitive verbs and I have doubts about how to write them correctly. Which way should I write them?
1 - "Purposes

  • Map the support processes and systems according to a strategy previously defined;
    -Detail how processes, procedures and systems work together at the company."

2 - "Purposes

  • To map the support processes and systems according to a strategy previously defined;
  • To detail how processes, procedures and systems work together at the company."
    or

3 - "Purposes

  • Mapping the support processes and systems according to a strategy previously defined;
    -Detailling how processes, procedures and systems work together at the company.

Thanks.

Hi abra,

All 3 of your examples are gramatically fine, and I’d think any of them would work.

However, if you’re specifically wanting to use infinitives, then #2 is the way to go.

It could just be me, but #2 also seems to have more of a proper “technical manual” feel to it. :slight_smile:

Thanks for your help.
It’s important to count on help of native speakers, so that we (non-native speakers) get more self confident when writing
in English.
regards.
