How to use once, when and after

These are rewritten sentences based on: The crop is harvested and then crushed to extract the juice.

All look pretty good, except the last tells me that crushing is part of the harvesting process. It doesn’t contain “After”, “Once”, or “had been” to tell me that the harvesting is completed before the crushing.
