How to use "of and for"?

Hi All,

This question is too broad to answer here. “of” and “for” are very common words that are used in very many different ways. Questions about specific sentences or usages would be better.

Certainly, I agreed as both word are common but defiantly their would be ruled to use of both things…

There are usage rules and patterns, but even a moderately complete explanation of these would take hours or days to compile from scratch, and would probably fill pages. To begin with, you could look at a good dictionary that gives the main senses in which the words are used, plus example sentences. For example:

oxforddictionaries.com/definitio … sh/of?q=of
merriam-webster.com/dictionary/of

Thanks to your efforts I will peruse it
