What’s the differences between ‘Since’ and ‘Ever since’

  1. Since I fail in job interviewed I try to improve my English.
  2. Ever since I fail in job interviewed I try to improve my English.

    In the above sentence, I put ‘in’. Is it a mistake or O.K?

I also have a question. What is correct? Can I use both versions? I feel as if something is wrong with the 2 last sentences.

They’re all okay, Trololo.

  1. indicates that he has taken it more than once.
  2. indicates that he took it once (though this could also be used if he took it more than once).
  3. indicates what happens shortly after he takes it.
