Dear Learners,

If it is beneficial for you take it. Unless waste it.

I read Oxford Learner’s Dictionary every day. I think I know not less than 60% of it.

You can see my position on top 100.

I read Vocabulary, Idioms, Collocations, Phrasal Verbs, Errors, Usages, Letter Writings and Grammars published by Oxford Cambridge and only by well known publishers.

I do almost all of the exercises in them.

Grade A+

I’m quality conscious.

I have CD for almost all of the books I bought.

I speak along with the tapes, to be fluent and to have standard accent.

You may not know I’m a Burmese if I speak behind a curtain.

I only read, speak and write British English. I just love it.

But I listen American English as well in order to be able to catch different accents and usages.

I frequently do test on other web sites.

Grade A+

I write in English Test Net. To sharpen my gery matter. And to learn from other writers. Some of them are really good in the way they think and write.

E.g- Ms. Cgk and Kati Svaby. They write beautiful English. I envy them.

I love ETN . Since they give me a broad latitude to write.

Their server is up to the minute. Wunderbar.

Mr. Torsten is very good Business man , here I believe. He can see both ways at the same time. Business acumen. Only sometimes he is too patriotic . Pardon me here.

Intentionally, I read heavy books of Management , Business and History and so on to broaden my scope of languages and knowledge.

Last but not least Beeesneees is a person I admire a lot for her lucid writing. She can write such a beautiful British English. I know not all natives write good English. Really amazing, she can writes. Better than most of the writers I’ve read. I think she even can write a Harry Porter, and can get rich.

Mr. Justin Huang,

You are right, I’m not even so sure the person is he or she. Maybe a CIA mole as well. Assuming bee is female and drone is male of bee species.

OK, let’s put it this way, bee is a lady coach and I think she can get richer. But I don’t think She’s J.K Rowling since most people are happy to forget their poor past.

Anyway, I really love her British English. If you are friendly with British English , you must know it has a distinct, beautiful style in it, mustn’t you?

Oh, I forgot one thing, I read thesaurus as well. When I see a word , I see its synonyms and antonyms too. By this way I find one word, I save three words. Kinda like synergy.

Yes KK,

Most of them are old issues, so they’ve got audio cd only. But I’ve got a few video cds as well. e.g side by side, toefl business English.
Here thanks to piracy it only cost 2-4 bucks to have a quality books. Macmillan, Pearson, Penguin, Princeton, Oxford, Cambridge.

Sad things, I rarely see someone’s buying them. Since for years English and English names are slave things in Burma. Blindfold.

But they are reopening now. But the gap is huge as two generations.

And KK,

There are three most important things in learning a language.

  1. practise
  2. practise
  3. practise

No man or material can substitute you in a conference or an exam?
You are always on your own?

( For the moment you are with the ETN’s competent coaches and some native writers and non native language experts, use them? And ETN’s tests are superb. My English improved not less than 50% thanks to ETN. ( I’m not saying I’m good.lol ) Make hay while the sun shines, strike the iron while it is hot. )

Since you are a Scandinavian, I presume, you can learn a lot of English .

I, a Burmese, an Asian can learn and write this much , you can write better than me?

Give some times to it and practise more.

I use Anki to learn english words. I use it once a day. I rarely read language learner blogs in english.
When I don’t understand a word in english I often use Oxford Learner’s Dictionary.

Hi,

No one can write English like Sir Alan’s except Shakesphere. Really his eassys are
like Treasure to me and all in forum. I don’t have words and knowledge to admire him.
He is such a beautiful writer, the way he writes the Esays/stories would be a great thinngs to the ETN.

I really miss his essays now-a-days.

Sir Torsten can motivate others to write and bring out the learner’s talent. I like him also the way how he is understaning learners mind and act according to that.

I like both.

Hello Mr. Kyaw Min Lwin,

I am undergraduate student in university.I needed very good english strongly cause

of my department is tourism.

However,I didn’t know that where can I start to study english.

First of all,I determined that what kind of english do I need.(Business english )

I have widened to my vocabulary and I’ve improved my grammar and prononcuation

by translating of english writings.

Moreover when I need help,I am asking my english friends via facebook.

İn addition,I have been continuing to improve the language by various websites via

internet.(thank you very much english-test)

For instance,I use the website actively as soon as possible.Because they are useful.

İn conculasion,I am so pleasure with the process ; )Thank you.

Thank you. I’m still reading dictionary, IELTS/ TOEFL books and taking tests on ETS. And I feel like my command of English is improving and I’m happy.

I love tourism. You should read service marketing and business management. Of course, public relations and diplomacy.

Try harder , don’t drop. No pain no gain. Rome wasn’t built in a day.

I did some researches regarding the hungarian – turkish relandship.

İn this context,Some hungarian people had come to the city where I live cause of

we have common historical memory at gallipoli.

Çanakkale / Gallipoli. ( The city is in the Northwestern region of Turkey)

The tulips seem strong.

I am student from university in the city but may family has been living in Istanbul.
