How do Moderators know?

Hi

For so long I have been thinking of putting this question that how do moderators know that in some particular thread they have been addressed? How come only that teacher answers in the thread (in many cases), who has been asked the question.

Would someone answer?

Tom

.
I’m not going to answer this question, Tom, because I think you were talking to somebody else.

Amy, what leads you to believe that???

No, I was not talking to anyone…I just want to know that! Are you people emailed that in some particular thread your name has been mentioned or what?

Tom

Not that I’m aware of, Tom.

As for me, I just read a lot of posts.

Amy

Hi Tom,

As Amy said there is no system that notifies any of our moderators when a new question has been posted. As a moderator you can decide yourself whether or not you want to answer a particular question. It’s also up to you how actively you want to engage in the forum discussions, that means, how often you want to new messages.[YSaerTTEW443543]
