Dear friends,
I am confused with the both words. For example, are the below sentences similar?
“I have worked here since 2000.” vs. “I have worked here since from 2000.”
Thanks,
Siam
Hello, Siam,
The first sentence is correct. “I have worked here since 2000.”
As for the second one,you can’t say “since from” together,"“from” is redundant here as the word “since” itself means "from ".
If you wish to use “from” in this sentence, you can say “I have worked here from 2000 till now”.
I hope this will be helpful for you.If I have not explained properly, our teachers will help us then.
Good morning Tamta. Nice explanation, and nothing wrong with it.
Kitos.
Hello Tamta and Kitosdad,
Thanks so much for your grateful explanation. I have made a simple mistake for a long time ago.
