The so-called gig economy has been on the rise ever since the term was coined in 2009 and current pandemic has been accelerating the shift from full-time employment to micro-entrepreneurship and freelancing. What we need is a #ubi (universal basic income) to make this transaction possible. #humanity_first

Yes, without any huge infrastructure, permanent labour force, assured social security and apprehension of law, work can be got done by the most competent human resources in a virtual situation today.
