Hi expert teachers,

Change the voice:

‘‘Honey tastes sweet.’’
Honey is sweet when it is tasted.

Is it how it is changed?

Hi,
If you hadn’t used the word “expert”, probably some people would have given you their ideas.
Anyway, were you “challenged” to change the original sentence into passive voice? Honestly, I feel the awkwardness in the changed sentence, which somewhat implies that honey is only sweet when it is tasted.
I think the difference here is between the “taste” in the 2 sentences. One is a linking verb like “be”, the other is an action verb.
