My name is thip. I’m from Bangkok,Thailand. I want to prove my eng. Because eng.is my second language. My first problem is grammar. My second problem is speaking. I give up myself. Can you give me some advice?
how to prove eng?
Thanks a lot, guys
Hi Thip.
Lannguage demands consistancy. To improve English the key point is practice.Observe daily life experiences and translate them into English. With the passage of time you will find every explanation handy. For grammar, this website is very useful.I found Toreston and Mr Alan very helpful.Try to ask questions from them.Share your experiences with friends.May be at first time you feel shy that fluency is not good but with the passage of time practice will make it up to the mark.
Hope for the best.
Best regards
Naz.
Hello everyone!
Im just new in here. I decided to join and somehow write something on the forum just to have a feel of being part of this family. I am from the Philippines and I will be taking TOEFL on the 5th of December. Now I am really anxious about what will lie ahead of me. I admit I am not that confident with my English skills and so I really need people who could edify and encourage me to just press in. I will be taking the Exam because it is required for me to be able to do further study and enter graduate school in the States. I have not studied yet and the possible duration of my study, I think, will only be 2 weeks. Does it really take a long time for me to prepare to get an excellent rating in the exam? I think my study period will really be condensed in that I really have to cover up a lot of things in a relatively short period of time? Can anyone give me advice on this? thanks! I am looking forward to your response! God bless!
Hi Joshoctura,
Niceto meet you!
Your problem is not a problem rather than a challenge. And my motto in life is that turning challanges into opportunities.so far as your exam is concerned,it is not difficult. You should give one-hour to listening skill and attempt question/answers session of those lessons.Work hard on vocabulary(if you don’t have material for vocab)you can find them on bbc service English Learning.Make the mast of different tests of this web site and other online tests. For writing skills you can avail of daily experiences as there are different topics that we come across.Speaking skill is not a big problem. If you don’t have any friend to talk in English you should do one thing that whatever you experience first write and then speak it again and again.
The last important point cannot be missed that do not say you are not good in English or in relevant field because fear cannot lead you to success.
Hope for the BEST.
