I’ve also tried to find an English course for you in Chişinău and it seems that this pretty difficult. The question is if you really need a conventional English course. You can learn English online – have you ever considered this?

but the most recent study plan was from 2005-2006. Do you know anything about them? Do they still offer courses?

I have heard of them, a colleague of mine used to take classes with them. He said they are pretty good, I am thinking to take some classes with them as well. But also there is Studium, and Quo Vadis, they offer Language courses, I do not know how good they are, but u could try and find out :), let me know …

Hello everyone!
My name is Robert and I will be moving to Chisinau in about a month. I am a certified TEFL (teaching Emglish as a second language) teacher. I was hoping that some of you might be able to answer my questions. Is there a high semand for native English teachers? Does anyone know the average pay? Do you need a bachelor’s degree to be employed? Is the work permit/visa process difficult? Any information or web sites you can give me will be greatly appreciated.

Hello Elena. Try Terra Nova ELC at terranovamd.com. It is a very good school. They prepare for the TOEFL test. I think it is the only specialized TOEFL preparation institution in Chisinau, or even Moldova.
