Heads-up and polish the English

Hi everyone,

Here is the sentence:

Further to my last heads-up email on three team leads internal transfer, I am very pleased to announce that post strict interview and selection process the following people are appointed to take up the new leads roles.

I guess ‘heads-up’ here means awareness, asking attention.Am I right?

BTW, is this sentence standard enough in English? Is there any improvement?

Thank you

I guess ‘heads-up’ here means awareness, asking attention.Am I right?-- Yes. It is casual.

BTW, is this sentence standard enough in English? Is there any improvement?– For one thing, ‘post-’ is a prefix, not a word; also, ‘heads up’ is out of place here. I would suggest:

Further to my last email reporting the internal transfer of three team leads, I am very pleased to announce that after a strict interview and selection process, the following people have been appointed to new lead roles.
