“The total of all the sale is Rs.50000”-- This is now correct. ‘Become’ suggests a change in condition and is not appropriate here.

Also, About the “qualify” question: It could be done using Present Perfect as long as it didn’t mention specific time (always remember that, P.P. can’t be used in this condition).
