I want to know the meaning of “He is stuck in Limbo”…

He is in a situation where he’s not entirely sure what’s going on. Some sort of situation or problem is up in the air and isn’t expected to be resolved anytime soon.
Can I say this: I want to put an end my relationship with him because I get stuck in limbo…( I stay in uncertainty situation because of the fact that he does not have any firm stand).
A more natural way of saying it would be
‘I feel we are stuck in limbo, so I want to put an end to our relationship.’
