have you heard dry joke?

Hi everyone,

If someone tells a joke which is not very funny or to make others laugh, can I say it’s a dry joke? Or what would native speakers say this? Can you give some examples as well?

No, actually, I haven’t heard of a “dry” joke. A dry sense of humor is one that relies on wit, not vulgarity or jokes that involve people falling down.

If the joke goes badly, you can say that it “fell flat.”
