What is your opinion on the following topic:
“Happiness is not the destination, but the journey to the destination!”
To be truly happy you first have to divorce yourself from money.
It is true that a certain amount of money is essential for everyone’s daily existence, and yet some people pursue the amassing of money in the mistaken belief that they will be much happier when they achieve their goal.
The reflection of how happy a person is, is revealed in their faces. If you were to see “rich” people in their relaxed moments, their faces show you just how happy they truly are.
Look at the stars and celebrities in the newspapers and magazines. They are only appearing to be happy whilst the camera or the fans are focused upon them.
The happiest faces that you will usually see are on the faces of children in “third-world” countries. These children have almost nothing to be happy about, yet their inner happiness shines through whenever they look at you. There has to be a lesson there for us all.
Then compare them to the faces of children in America and Europe. Kids with all of the latest games and technology at their command, and they will tell you that they are bored and have nothing to do.
Happiness evades them, because to them, happiness has a value in $ €, etc,. The more expensive, the happier they are, until they once more become bored.
In the poorer countries kids cannot be educated because of the lack of decent facilities and the reluctance of their governments to plough money into education and medical care. Yet we are still racing along the road to happiness, forever falling over our own feet, whilst they are taking the rocky route with very little help from others.
In spite of all their handicaps they will get there, and they will be a damned sight happier than us, every step of the way.
Kitos.
Hi Kitosh,
Nice opinion. I really liked it. I say beautiful that is beautiful and I say ugly that seems to me ugly. Truely I am, honest & sincere on this.

PS: Please don’t mind my previous posts for you. I apologize to you.
Noren, as my oldest friend used to say before he died, "It’s gotta be the going, not the gettin’ there that’s good.
Kitos.
I accept your apology, and offer you my hand.
The word happiness lead to many concepts, which means we as human being we have a long term about the meaning of happiness, some of us looking for happiness through the money; or through the fame.
happiness is something inner that we should know how to use it ; and the right way to reach it; starting from reconciliation with ourself; than be satisfied with what you have; and do not think about what you do not own; but think about people who do not have even food or clothes.
In addition to that; although the rich person seems to have everything but there always something missing in thier life; in other hand those who do not have nothing they feel happy about everything surround them;
To sum up; happiness is the missing link here and to make it your own destination you must start your journey until you reach it.
Hi All,
According to me, happpiness will not come to you, we should make our self comfortable with whatever the god has given us. we’ll loose our hapiness the moment we start feeling that we don’t have what the others have. We should always try to fulfill our requirements to our limit. We can fulfill all our needs from money but we will not find love, affection which gives us a true happiness. We should help each other with whatever we have, then we’ll definetly find happiness in it.
(Pls correct if you find any errors)
Thanks,
Hema
Hi ,
According to my understanding We should enjoy lives because it is the true meaning of a journey. We should not walk to a path that we think happiness is in the end of the road. Life should be as a happy journey an exciting one. Not as an obligation for us to feel happy. We should not at least try not to carry excess baggage while where in journey s we could just enjoy ourselves while doing this. We should be boundless to fulfill things that can make us happy but we should not also to forget to enjoy things .
Dear Kitos, you’ve made an accent on money. I think it’s partially true. The real thing that prevents us from being happy is our own mind. It always try to reach some goal, to solve some problem, to compare with others etc. Just try to take all problems from a man and he’ll invent new. It’s the mind which makes us to do that because its primary function is to endlessly munch something over. No matter what it is: money, women, games, radio engineering… So the less you know the happier you are
hi Kitos,
You are very polite and considerate person I have ever met in my life. Thanks a lot to you from the depths of my heart.
Well, happiness does not come from money or object. We have to be happy with what we have. We do not get what we like, so lets like what we can get.

How could we identify happiness? What is it? Does smiling mean happiness? Does crying mean greive?
Isn’t happiness the moments of pure enjoyment, very tiny bits grasped in the life, something like a reflection in a shop window, when you unexpectedly turned around.
I do not oppose happiness to unhappiness, but it’s something “extremely good” and I am sure, nothing "good’ could be much.
