I had to look up what 50C is - wow that is hot!

It is scorching. Yesterday I attended a presentation on climate change by a scientist who has been doing research on the topic for more than 30 years and he said that we are going to experience more of this type of heateaves in the future and that the temperature in the arctic is rising 2.5 times as fast as in the rest of the world causing the sea level to rise very quickly.
