Greyhound racing & Dog racing

Hi,

I would like to know if it is common in UK to say “greyhound racing” rather than “dog racing”.

Thanks.

Provided they are greyhounds, yes.

I think that most dog racing in the UK involves greyhounds, but whippets, which are like small greyhounds, are also raced, or certainly used to be.

Hi Dozy,

Thanks for your answer. By the way, the Netherlands, the United States of America, but are the UK and UK either acceptable, or is the correct form just the UK like you wrote?

Thanks once more.

The United Kingdom.

Good morning my dear friend,

Thanks. Have a good day!
