“Men and women, because of their inherent physical differences, are not equally suited for many tasks.
Write a response in which you discuss the extent to which you agree or disagree with the claim. In developing and supporting your position, be sure to address the most compelling reasons and/or examples that could be used to challenge your position.”
While it is true that Men and Women are physically different, It is not true that they can’t do each other’s tasks. There are exceptions but in today’s world, Men and Women are starting to get equal treatment. For many centuries, Society was dominated by men it still is but women are stepping up and bringing a change to that definition.
Men and Women are dependent on each other. We can’t imagine a world with only men or women, There’s a need of both. Take for instance child birth, Women can’t get pregnant without men. Children are born of women but there’s a big role of men. While it is true men don’t have to undergo pregnancy for 9 months only women have to, Which is hard but men have other responsibilities like taking care of their partner, supporting them mentally, making sure that their partner is getting enough rest and so on.
Since the inception of time, Men have been incharge of the responsibility for going to work and earn for a living while, women have been doing the job of taking care of household. Today, In many households it can be seen that men and women are both working and earning for their family and also handling the task of doing household chores. While there are still some countries where this is considered a sin for women to work. But, this prejudice is slowy morphing, and women are taking up roles equivalent to men.
In conclusion, It will not be best to say that men are not suited for tasks performed by women and vice-versa. Men and Women while physically different are made to work in harmony. While there exist many places in the world where Men and Women are treated differently, This gap can only be filled by making awareness about how Women are equally important as Men.
