GRE exam: Paper based vs. CAT?

I’m wondering if anyone has experiece with both modes of testing. I took GRE today and was quite displeased. I ran out of time on Quaint becasue I spent too much time on a certain problem in the beginning. The paper-base test allows you to skip around so you could answer everything known first and spend time on what you need to. Any comments appreciated.

I took both and guess the PBT is harder than the CBT. I had same experience with the CBT but it was worse than that in the PBT.
