Please tell me difference between grant and granting.

For Example:

Please therefore be kind enough to grant me a leave from ---- to —

(OR)

Please therefor be kind enough to granting me a leave from -------- to-------

I’m not happy with this one:

That does require an infinitive form after the adjective: kind enough to grant …

You could use the ing form after a noun phrase as in:

Please therefore be kind enough to see your way to granting …
