Grammar Question: Meaning of "would have"

plz explain me the meaning of would have.

It is used to express the possibility. “I would have done it”, “He would have paid the bill”

The alternate way could be “I might have done it” so on and so forth.

Would have can be used in the conditional III:

I would have joined the meeting if you had sent me an official invitation.
