Grammar confusion: 'She repaired the car' vs 'She had repaired the car'

Hi

I’'d like to know whats the difference between these sentences and which one is correct :

She repaired the car
She had repaired the car

And

“She had been repairing the car” or “she has been repairing the car”?

Thanks

regards
sean

In both cases, each of the two sentences is grammatically correct, but the use of each one depends on the situation. Read up on the past tense and the past perfect tense, and that could clarify it for you.

Hi

Is there any reference on those topics in this website?

Thanks

I don’t find anything about them on this website. (Maybe I didn’t look hard enough, so someone might correct me.) But here is a page where you can read about all the verb tenses:
