Hi, everyone
I saw the game show called “got to dance - uk version”. I hear the performer and judges said “three gold stars”. Why it’s not “three golden stars” ? is it any differences between them (I mean gold/golden) ?
Thank you for your reading.

‘Gold star’ - star that is made from gold
golden star - star that is gold in appearance.
In this case, of course, members are not given any real stars, so there would be no significant difference.
The term ‘gold star’ is used to indicate an award for something done really well. Often, people have been familiar with it since childhood, as it is a typical school ‘award’ for good work.
thank you bee. Crystal clear
