Future ESL Teacher needs advice

Hello. My name is Jamal, and I’m new on this site. In a couple of months, I will receive my Certificate in TESOL. Although I’m a native speaker of English, there are many grammar terms that I’m not familiar with, and I don’t feel like I write at the level of an ESL teacher or can properly correct a piece of writing written by a student. I would really appreciate any suggestions on how I can improve my situation. Thanks!

Hello Jamal,

Welcome to our forum. For starters, I’d suggest you browse through our ‘Grammar’ section where you can read grammar questions by ESL students and responses by ESL professionals. Those responses often contain grammar terms you want to familiarize yourself with. Please let me know what you think. Best regards, Torsten[YSaerTTEW443543]
