frosty VS freezy

Hi, guys!

What is the difference between the following sentences:

  1. It’s frosty outside.
  2. It’s freezy outside.

Does freezy seem slangy or old-fashioned to you? Can I use it at all?

I would say ‘freezy’ sounds a bit like a child speaking. The usual word would be ‘freezing’.
