Followed by something

Hey

I’m a little confused… look at this sentence;

FOLLOWED BY CHOCOLATES, CLOCKS CONSTITUTED SWITZERLAND’S PRIMARY EXPORT PRODUCT THIS YEAR.

I know FOLLOW means ‘to come after something’, could you please clarify that a bit?!
Isn’t it the same as - “Right after chocolate, clocks…”?
Thanks

It means that chocolates rank behind clocks in the list of Switzerland’s primary exports.
