Hey,
I want to introduce you to an interesting thing. This is very helpful when you read some text on the Internet and you don’t know the meaning of an English word. You even didn’t type an unfamiliar word in an online dictionary. Look at this:
addons.mozilla.org/extensions/m … g=10&id=68
As you see, It’s sufficent to select an unfamiliar word, click the right button of the mouse and choose one of online dictionaries.
If you want to do like that you have to download a browser mozilla firefox. It’s absolutely free, this is webpage where you can download it firefox.com/.
If you install the firefox (this is a save product), you have to get an extension, that is called DictionarySearch, so take a look at this if you want to know more: addons.mozilla.org/extensions/m … g=10&id=68
and click “Install Now” to install this plugin.
Afterwards you have to restart the firefox and turn it on again. In main menu of the firefox click Tools, then Extension and customize the new plugin.
There are the best monolingual online dictionaries here I have ever seen:
freesearch.co.uk/dictionary
dictionary.cambridge.org/
tfd.com/
You can use them in the Plugin.
Hope this helps.
Best wishes,
Simon
