Face-to-face communication is better than other types of communication

Communication is one of the most important aspect in human life.We live by communicating to each other in one way or the other.Among all the forms of communication I think face-to-face communication is the most convinient form because this involves true actions. In my opinion it is by far the effecttive form of communication.

One reason I think face-to-face communication is efficient is that the chance of miscommunication is veryless.Where as in other forms of communication like E-mail,telephone conversation there might be slight chance of misinterpretation.Even if the same happens in face-to-face communication we will come to know and hence will get a chance to correct.Apart from these the kind of impression face-to-face communication creates in receiver is much larger than any other forms of communication because this involves true feelings.

Another reason why I feel face-to-face communication is better is amount of distraction. In face-to-face communication there is very less chance of distraction because the person who is communicating will be infront of you.Where as in other forms of communication the person who is communicating won’t keep an eye on you and one can easily get distracted.Another factor which favours face-to-face communication is interruption. In face-to-face communication there won’t be any interruption unless speaker or listener want to take one.Where as in other forms external factors come in to picture like server load, telephone lines etc.

But in this ever increasing world of computers, people are looking towards other forms of communication like video conference, virtualization for reduceding costs.
In my opinion the amount of expenditure required for face-to-face communication is tantamount to video conferencing because of high cost expenditure. Finally I think every one should give face-to-face communication higher priority over other forms because it is most efficient and no technology can beat its advantages.

Not bad at all Sandy, …but,… far too many face-to-face repetitions.

Hi Kitos,

Thank you for valuable comments.
I shall try not repeating words from next time.

Sandeep

I would like to post my essay . how to post ?

Sorry, something is badly wrong on my laptop.
Normal service will be resumed in a few minutes.

I disagree that face-to-face communication is better than other types communications, such as letters, e-mail, or telephone calls. I believe that each of the communication methods have advantage and disadvantage.
Face- to-face is the communication that they sit together and talk directly. This communication has benefit that both parties completely clear any topics or problems and come up with a solution to the problems together. However, the conclusion is only words and there are no any evidences to reference in the future. Other types of communications such as letters and e-mail are well equipped with evidences and supporting documents. Furthermore, the conclusion between both parties is official because there is e-mail or letters for reference. In addition, it has advantages in the future because letters and e-mail record all evidences. If we would like to lean about the previous case, we could find at e-mail or letters.
On the other hand, face–to-face communication, both parties have to control their emotion .It is easy to quarrel with each other if they don’t meet theirs satisfaction. Moreover, sometimes they don’t meet with a reasonable conclusion and miss a chance to find others solutions or sources because they have to make a decision immediately. Communications via letters, e-mail or telephone calls both parties avoid quarreling and they can hammer out a compromise.
All in all, face- to-face communication is useful for both parties discussing problems directly but other communications such as letters, e-mail and telephone calls are better in many ways.

Groffy, post your essay as a “New Topic.” Otherwise it will be ignored .

Kitos.

I would like someone check my eassay. Could I post in the same topic ?

I totally agree that most experiences in our lives that seemed difficult at time become valuable lessons for the future. Throughout our lives, there are many complicate and difficult situations. When it passes though, it will be valuable lessons.
First of all, we can learn about previous mistakes to improve and develop ourselves in the future. We will not make similar mistakes because we recognize a wrong and right thing. When we confront with hard situations, we will find any matters to solve them. It is an advantage in the future if we face with similar problems. In other words, a previous experience is useful in terms of a career path. People who have more work experience, they will gain a first priority to get the job. Most company consider about work experience more than other factors.
Furthermore, when we encounter with a difficult circumstance, we will have a keen insight on a surrounding people’s real characteristics. We do not know dept of their mind. For example, we have a financial crisis .Some of friends willing to support, but some of them ignore and break our relationship.
All in all, there are many obstacles and difficult circumstances in our lives. The past failure becomes a success in the future.
