Expression: You give me a turn up...

Hello

Please see below:I heard these lines in one movie…so I may be wrong in my very questions. But if you could come up with something, do look at the underlined lines.(I think they were said this way.If there is something nearer and better to your ears, please respond).[The hero wants to marry Samadar. But her father wants him to marry her sister.]

Old man: “Here, my other daughter. Take her and she will make you a much better wife. She is smarter than her sister and much, much more beautiful.”

(Angry) Hero: “You give me a turn up for/ turnip for…” (What could turn up mean here?)

(The old man cuts him short) "This one is a queen among women.Look, look! Have you ever seen eyes like that…so full of love for you? See the quiteness of her skin , so smooth as a young dove’s. Or she will grow you in some rear/ real blossom/ she is the quite mess? of her skin and so smooth as a young dove’s. Or she will grow you in some rear/ real blossom.

Hero: “She will grow into a thorn bush.”
