Expression: 'Cast into piece'

Is anyone familiar with the expression ‘cast into piece’?

I’ve heard “cast piece” and “cast into place” but not “cast into piece” (until just now, that is).

But, then again, I’m just a darn Yankee (like Twain sort of was). :lol:

And I heard the same expression as you, Amy.As far as I know it deals with medicine but I’m not sure :smiley:
