I was listening the text about days of the week and I found the expression “boomtown rats”. I understand this word in context but, what is the exactly meaning?

The Boomtown Rats = An Irish rock band
Boomtown = A town that has grown very rapidly as a result of sudden prosperity.
Rats = long-tailed rodents

I am seeing that you haven’t been satisfied with the explanations made by Iraq. Personally, I haven’t had and idea about what it means until Iraq made that exposé however that explanation seems logical to me.
