I did this error recognition exercises. I found the errors but haven’t been sure about how to correct them. I hope someone can help me.

  1. In order to finish the project according to schedule, we will have to work in advance on the steps what require contractors’ work.

  2. Ecologists feared the American eagle might be near extinction as there were so few sights of them in the last decade.

My correction:

  1. —> that require
  2. —> so few signs
