English word for "aahat"

Hi

In Urdu we have a beautiful word “aahat”.

google.com/search?hl=en&q=%22aahat%22

It means a feeling with a very, very slight movement and noise that someone has entered or something happened. You generally feel an “aahat” when you are alone..

So,

[color=red]aahat= slight feeling of some thing moving+ hardly audible noise

Forgive my giving you so many qualifications but what is the English word for “aahat”?

I don’t think we have just one word for that. We have various words describing precisely what kind of aahat it is. You could say you heard a murmur, a rustle, and some other types of quiet sounds. Then we’d add adjectives, so we may say we heard faint footsteps, etc. To be general, you might just say you heard a faint noise.
